Answer:

The best answer to the question: When Pangea split up what happened to the western edge of the North American continent, would be: vast valleys were formed between the divinding Northwestern Africa and North America and these valleys were filled with ocean water from the old Panthalassa ocean, to form the central Atlantic Ocean.

Explanation:

With the use of the tectonic plate theory scientist today know that over 200 million years ago there was one mega continent known as Pangea, and a huge ocean that surrounded it known as Panthalassa. However, this super continent began to break apart around 180 million years ago, explained by the tectonic plate theory, and this break up, especially between the earlier joined northwestern side of Africa and North America created a series of coastal valleys that were filled with the water from Panthalassa and created the central Atlantic Ocean. Changes continued throughout the centuries, and even today changes are still taking place due to the movement of tectonic plates.

How did the native americans feels when they first saw the pilgrems
alexandr402 [8]

this is how they felt.

When the Mayflower came, first to the outer arm of the Cape and then into Plimoth, we looked on them with apprehension and great curiosity. It was much larger than our biggest canoe. As they landed, they brought a lot of baggage with them and seemed like they were here to stay. We knew that there would be great changes in the way we would live.

How did powhanton confederacy interact with the british
Tanya [424]

Answer:

Powhanton confederacy was a group of Native American tribes, in the Virginia area. Their relationship with British settlers was not good. They thought that the British wanted to enslave them.

The British did not want to make an effort to earn anything, rather they wanted faster means of wealth and comfort. The Leader of the Powhanton confederacy tried to befriend the British by showing his hospitality through food and offerings. He invited them on events and treated them nicely to make them feel comfortable.
