An equilateral triangle has 3 sides of equal length
find the length of 1 side and that is the length of te other 2 sides
so find the length and times 3

we need to find the distance betwen the points (-8,-5) and (3,7)

distance between the points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is
D=\sqrt{(x_1-x_2)^2+(y_1-y_2)^2}
so
distance between (-8,-5) and (3,7) is
D=\sqrt{(-8-3)^2+(-5-7)^2}
D=\sqrt{(-11)^2+(-12)^2}
D=\sqrt{121+144}
D=\sqrt{265}

the distance is √265
the perimiter is 3√265 units

harkovskaia [24]

Answer:

8m.

Step-by-step explanation:

an = 2 an-1 means that each term in the sequence( except the first) is obtained by multiplying the last term by 2, so the first 4 terms are m, 2m, 4m, 8m.

Solve the two-step equation. − 2 3 x – 21 4 = 27 4
svetoff [14.1K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

I'm going to assume that the problem is -23x -214 = 274

And in that case...

1. First isolate the x-value by adding 214 to both sides of the equation:

-23x = 488

2. Then, divide both sides by -23 to truly get x alone:

x = -\frac{488}{23} or -21.22

Karl is putting a frame around a rectangular photograph. The photograph is 14 inches long and 10 inches wide, and the frame is t
Sergeu [11.5K]
<h2>The area of the framed photograph = 1156 inch^{2}</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

The length of photograph (l) = 14 inches and

The breadth of photograph (b) = 10 inches

To find, the area of the framed photograph = ?

We know that,

The area of the framed photograph = (l + 2b)(l + 2b)

= (14 + 2 × 10) (14 + 2 × 10) inch^{2}

= (14 + 20) (14 + 20) inch^{2}

= (34) (34) inch^{2}

= 1156 inch^{2}

∴ The area of the framed photograph = 1156 inch^{2}
