Saxophones produce sound by using the player's flow of air and creating an oscillating motion with the reed acting as an oscillating valve. The reed and the resonances that are present within the air inside of the instrument produces a vibrating and radiating sound out of the holes as well as the belly of the instrument.

The reed, in cooperation with the resonances in the air in the instrument, produces an oscillating component of both flow and pressure. Once the air in the saxophone is vibrating, some of the energy is radiated as sound out of the bell and any open holes.

A red analogous split complimentary color scheme contains:
bezimeni [28]

Answer:

In regards to the directional positioning of the color wheel the opposite hue of green will be as others have said, red. Keep in mind that red, yellow and blue are primary hues while green is considered a secondary one. Now within the secondary colors, technically green's opposite will be orange and purple

Complementary colors are any two colors which are directly opposite each other, such as red and green and red-purple and yellow-green.

Analogous colors are a group of three colors next to each other on a color wheel, such as violet, red-violet, and red.

Red. Red and green are complimentary colors, so they have a really high contrast. Also, depending on the green, you could get a nice contrast with black or white. White stands out nicely on a rich emerald or dark forest green.

Understanding Color Chapter 9 study guide
(Need help asap)
Lyrx [107]
I can only answer some, but you'll have to answer the others. I already answered the 1st and 2nd question previously.

6. What is pigment?

It is basically another word for color. Having a move fancy definition though: a pigment is the natural color of an animal or plant tissue

8. What are the three primary colors?

Red, Yellow, and Blue

9. Why is violet called a secondary color?

Secondary colors are created mixing primary colors. Since red and blue make violet, it makes violet a secondary color.

I hope this helped you! If you need any more help, please ask me.
