The Iditarod is a 1,100 mile sled hound race beginning in Anchorage, Alaska and completion in Nome, Alaska. The Iditarod is exceptionally cruel and risky with practically horrendous conditions. This twenty multi year old race is known as the last incredible race. The historical backdrop of the Iditarod has been loaded up with stories of awful climate and incredible fines his. In 1973 In Anchorage Alaska thirty five sled hound racers known as mushers accumulated at the beginning. In 1995 Doug Swing line pursuing a 50,000 dollar tote.

No one knew whether any of them would complete the race yet the 1100 mile trek over the ice and the mountains in 20 days anyway the last spot finisher crossed the end goal in the slowest time ever of more than 32 days.
