Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer:

-18

Discussion:

I immediately noticed that  9/16 times -2 is the next term (-9/8) and  -9/8 times -2 is, again, the next term (9/4). Continuing like this gives

(9/4) * (-2) = - 9/2

(-9/2)*(-2)  = 9

9 * (-2) = -18

which is the desired answer

Thank you,

MrB

Correct Answer: Option A

Principal Amount = P = $23,400
Interest rate = r = 3% = 0.03
Time = t = 10
Number of compounding periods in a year = n = 2
Compounded amount = A = ?

Formula for compound interest is:

A = P(1+ \frac{r}{n} )^{t*n}

Using the values, we get:

A=23400(1+ \frac{0.03}{2})^{2*10}=31516.41

Option A is the closest one, so its the correct answer

Algebra 2 need a lil help
babymother [125]

Answer:

1

Step-by-step explanation:

The zeroes or x intercepts are when the line crosses through the x-axis.

In this case you should only have one being (1) because the line only passes the x-axis once. Also by real zeroes it means non -5i #s so nothing with an (i) for imaginary #'s.

Hope this helps.

Look at the figure. Complete the statement and justify your answer.VT=
egoroff_w [7]

Answer:

(C)

Step-by-step explanation:

From the given statement, \overline{VT} ≅\overline{VX} by the converse of the isosceles theorem as it states that if two angles are congruent in the triangle, then the two sides opposite to those equal angles will also be congruent that is \overline{VT} ≅\overline{VX}.

Hence, Option C is correct.

Rest of the options are not correct as the reflexive property states that any geometric figure, any angle or any line segment has same size and shape. NEither  \overline{VT} is equal to \overline{VX} nor \overline{TX} by reflexive property as the condition is not fulfiiled.
