A Focus group is way of performing qualitative research using a small group of people, but demographically diverse in order to determine their reactions, opinions or perceptions regarding a new product, service, campaign, idea or anything else through conducting guided discussions with the group and that way predict the reactions of a larger population. Focus groups are very commonly used in product marketing and market research to gather information about consumers preferences and needs.
