One accomplishment of Nixon was that he worked towards easing the tension of Cold War between Soviet Union and Republic of China.

Explanation:

Richard Nixon was 37th President of United States from 1969 to 1974. He was basically inclined working towards foreign affairs.

He had a great focus on easing strained relationship between Soviet Union and Republic of China through verbal communication. To end this War, Nixon signed two treaty with Soviet Union, namely Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty and SALT I. These treaties were for arms control.

He started diplomatic relations with Chine while working towards end of Cold War.

Nixon removed his armed forces from South Vietnam in 1973 and ended US military draft from Vietnam.
