How did the system of sharecropping affect landowners and laborers in the south
Tju [1.3M]
Sharecropping is a form of agriculture in which a landowner allows a tenant to use the land in return for a share of the crops produced on their portion of land (Wikipedia).
So that means workers would be payed with a portion of the food they produce. This would help both groups of people. The workers would get food and the owners would have workers who were motivated.
Hope this helps! Please let me know if I'm wrong :)
