 3(4h+3d=18.25)-2(6h+4d=26.50)

12h+9d-12h-8d=54.75-53

d=1.75, use either original equation to solve for h...

4h+3(1.75)=18.25

4h+5.25=18.25

4h=13

h=3.25

So the cost of one hamburger and one drink is:

3.25+1.75=$5.00

H=hamburgers.
D=drinks

3(4h+3d=18.25) - 2(6h+4d=26.50)

12h+9d-12h-8d=54.75-53

d=1.75

4h+3(1.75)=18.25

4h+5.25=18.25

4h=13

h=3.25

cost of one hamburger and one drink is:

3.25+1.75=$5.00

The planning value for the population standard deviation is 4330.

Given the confidence interval 20000 and 35000.

We have to find the planning value of standard deviation.

Standard deviation is measuring dispersion of data. Uniform probability distribution has two bounds a and b. The standard deviation is given by :

s=\sqrt{(b-a)^{2}/12 }.

Annual starting salaries for college graduates be between 20000 and 35000.

It is uniform in the interval so, a=20000, b=35000.

Now we have to just put the values of a and b in the above formula to get the value of standard deviation.

s=\sqrt{(35000-20000)^{2} /12}

=\sqrt{(15000)^{2} /12}

=\sqrt{225000000/12}

=\sqrt{18750000}

=4330

Hence the planning values for the population standard deviation is 4330.

What is radical 50 - radical 2
ella [17]

Answer:

4 sqrt(2)

Step-by-step explanation:

radical 50 - radical 2

I rewrite in terms of sqrt  (means the same thing)

sqrt(50) - sqrt(2)

sqrt(25*2) - sqrt(2)

We know that sqrt (ab) = sqrt(a) sqrt(b)

sqrt(25)sqrt(2) - sqrt(2)

5sqrt(2) - sqrt(2)

Factor out the sqrt(2)

sqrt(2) (5-1)

4 sqrt(2)

A skier is trying to decide whether or not to buy a season ski pass. A daily pass costs $7373. A season ski pass costs $350350
Gnesinka [82]
The skier would have to go skiing for 3 days..1day would be $98.00 because $73+$25= $98
2days would be $196 $98+$98= $196
3 days would be $294 because $196+$98=$294
4days would be more than a yearly pass $392
