The equator is the hottest area bc it's closer to where the sun rotates and the further away you go from it, the colder it gets.

So basically the Suns rotation, the equator runs east and west, and the sun rises in the east and sets in the west so it doesn't get close to the northern and southern parts of the world, so they are colder.

I hope that helps, it's like 4am here lol. I'm tired

What does Justin need to do to head north? turn left onto Maple St. make a sharp turn onto Elm St. make a U-turn on Oak St. turn
SIZIF [17.4K]

Answer:

Turn Right on Pine St.

Explanation:

He is currently heading West, and if the image attached is what you are referring to, then you can see going West is going up Oak Street.

So if West is going up Oak street, then going to the right would be north.

The orientation of the map would be:

             W

S N

              E

So turning right onto Pine Street would take him north-bound.

D. rift valleys.

Trenches occur at convergent oceanic plates; fossils are extremely old bones, bodies, or footprints, which have gotten so old the intervening years have turned them into rock; U-shaped valleys are valleys which are shaped like the letter U, and are usually formed by glaciers, which tend not to occur underwater very often.

Which of the following is not a climate control? (5 points)
kifflom [539]

Answer:

3) Humidity is not a climate control

Explanation:

Climate is influenced by the geographic location, relief, ocean current, and continentality. Humidity refers to the amount of moisture content per unit volume of air, it is a dynamic value changed in respective of seasons. But the above factors were static in nature while they controlled the regional climate over several hundred years.

Latitude is otherwise known as a geographic location and relief is the landform elevation in the region. Ocean current can change the cold climate to moderate, for example North Atlantic drift makes moderate climate in Nordic countries.
