In act 1 scene 5, scrooge sees himself as a child at school. what is revealed about his childhood scene

It revealed that  Scrooge was always in school during Christmas break.He spends his time reading adventure books. No one from his family fetches him home. A few months went by before his sister fetched him to go home because their father deemed it for him to be home. 

Scrooge, I think, has been unwanted by his father that is why he was banished in a boarding school.
