The correct answers are:

- New oceanic crust is created;

- Volcanoes erupt and produce more crust;

- Old crust is pushed away from ocean ridges;

When we have a divergent plate boundary, the plates move away from one another. As they move away, they leave a gap behind them, and lot of cracks in the thinner crust left behind. The high pressures from the mantle manage to push upwards the magma very easily through that crust and cracks. As the magma reaches the surface, it creates underwater volcanic activity. The magma comes out on the seafloor and quickly cools off. As it cools off, it creates new oceanic crust, thus the oceanic ridges. Because of the movement of the plates, and the constant new creation of new crust, the old crust is pushed away from the oceanic ridges.

Alisiya [41]

Answer:

Nucleoid

Explanation:

Prokaryotes are unicellular organisms that lack organelles or other internal membrane-bound structures. Therefore, they do not have a nucleus, but, instead, generally have a single chromosome: a piece of circular, double-stranded DNA located in an area of the cell called the nucleoid.

Which choice is considered an integral membrane protein?
Solnce55 [7]

Answer:

A protein with its amino-terminus in the cytoplasm and its carboxy-terminus in the extracellular space. (Ans. A)

Explanation:

Integral membrane protein (IMP) is defined as a membrane protein molecule which is directly attached to the biological membrane known as phospholipid bilayers. All transmembrane proteins are integral membrane protein but not all integral membrane protein are transmembrane proteins.

Integral membrane proteins function as a transporter, receptors, channels, proteins which is responsible for cell adhesion, proteins are also Involved in transduction and build up of energy.

Membrane proteins are class according to their transmembrane domain properties. The N-terminus of an integral membrane protein type I is in the endoplasmic reticulum lumen, where N-terminus of an integral membrane protein type II in the cytoplasm.

Which type of human population is characterized by the lag phase, being able to raise crops and domesticated animals, but having
nasty-shy [4]

Answer:

Rural population.

Explanation:

The rural population of humans is characterized by the lag phase because they are linked with farming of crops and domesticated animals. This population is responsible for the soil erosion and food shortages over the country because they are the producers of everything for the food industry. Due to farming methods, soil erosion occurs that leads to the depletion of nutritive part of the soil that causes less productivity of the crop and as a result food shortage occur.
