People should have pets because pets are really smart and even some pets know what's going to happen next before a human does. It may be a pain in the butt but if you want your pet to play with you and to protect you and your home I would recommend yes. And plus your mental and physical health improves because you know you have to feed the pet, you know you have to keep the pet active so that makes you smarter and it makes you feel motivated.

I think people should own pets because it makes your life happier, they protect your house (if it's a dog) and you learn to love them as a part of your family.

That was the greatest roller coaster ride of my life ! what can you infer from the sentence above ?
svet-max [94.6K]
<span>D. the person has ridden other roller coaster that weren't as good as that one

This option is accurate, since from the sentence, "</span><span>That was the greatest roller coaster ride of my life!" it can be inferred that the speaker has previously ridden different roller coasters that might have even been good, but as great as the one he or she is currently referring to.

Additionally, the word "greatest" is in superlative degree implying that the speaker thinks the rollercoaster is the best out of all other rollercoasters he or she has previously ridden.</span>
