Saint-Domingue was the wealthiest and most prosperous colony of all the colonies in the Caribbean. In 1789, whites numbered 40,000; mulattoes and free blacks, 28,000; and black slaves, an estimated 452,000. This was almost half the total slave population in the Caribbean, estimated at one million that year.

Which of these radical ideas did the Anabaptists assert? Select all that apply.
scoray [572]
Anabaptists do not believe in infant baptisms, rather they believed that only an adult could publicly profess their sins and then be baptized. They do believe in the separation of Church and State. And although they do believe in heaven and hell, a difference from some other groups is that good works are necessary throughout one's life in order to get into heaven.

Answer:

Scott was considered as property that could not be taken from its owner.

Explanation:

In the way this ruling was written, Dred Scott didn't have the right to sue in a Missouri's courts, since he wasn't considered a citizen.

Section C also basically states the the Missouri Compromise was unconstitutional and was considered void, as it deprived a US citizen of their property, which is what slaves were considered as at the time.
