The correct answer is D) Americans blamed Republicans for the shutdown and Clinton’s approval ratings improved.

The budget crisis of 1995 affected the American people’s feelings toward President Clinton in that Americans blamed Republicans for the shutdown and Clinton’s approval ratings improved.

During the Budget crisis of 1995, American citizens did not accept the idea of a shutdown. This drastic measure always affects the common U.S. worker that works in the government and general citizens do not like public services, parks, or museums to be affected. There were two shutdowns in a short amount of time in those Bill Clinton’s years. The first was from November 14 to November 19, 1995. The other was from December 16, 1995, to January 6, 1995. That is why the budget crisis of 1995 affected the American people’s feelings toward President Clinton in that Americans blamed Republicans for the shutdown and Clinton’s approval ratings improved.
