According to Islam, the leader should be of people's choice. Islam never did wrong to someone. There were total of 4 successors after Muhammad PBUH. Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddiuq was the first successor after Muhammad PBUH. Then other three came in different periods of time. Remaining three are Hazrat Ali, Hazrat Usman Ghani and Hazrat Umer Faarooq.
