Smith describes a village brought to chaos by two invaders, and the pointless courage that the women showed by confronting them to protect their daughters despite not being able to stop the two men from retaliating and coming back over and over again. It´s said that there´s always a boy that confronts one of the invaders, showing the same kind of pointless courage. What is the difference between vocabulary and synonyms?
Leviafan [203]

Answer:

A synonym is a word that is similar to other words, but not the same. Take the word flawed. A synonym could be defective or faulty. A vocabulary word is a word that is new to somebody and could be very prestigious and formal. For example, the word adequate could be vocabulary. Or maybe the word delectable.

P.S: If you're wondering, adequate means good or fine, and delectable means tasty or delicious.
