The Aryan people is the name that the Indo-Iranian people gave to themselves during the Vedic period. This was considered an ethnic label that people gave to themselves and later on to the noble class located in the Indo-Aryan region. These people settled in the Indus River Valley, and they based their religion on sacred texts called the Vedas, which are some of the oldest sacred texts in the world.
Slaves and peasants were dying quickly and vastly caused a high loss of work for the upperclass civilians... the peasants could go on "stike". They were able to demand more turning the system on its head.
