Max Lotz antagonized the unjust treatment of mining corporations towards the miners of his time:
1.) Workers are pressed with long working hours.
2.) Rapid and inhuman pacing of work.
3.) Massive safety problems.
4.) Capitalism where profit was considered more important than the labor force causing the managers of that time to milk laborers more to meet the initial investment of their corporations.

To increase the speed and also show how extremely important this case was to tge childern with colored skin who had to travel long distance to learn because they were not allowed to go to White schools. Colored School had little school funds and the school were torn and beat up while white school were in good conditions meeting all heath qualifications and education standards.
