The best action for Sabrina to take to improve her speaking skills in the future is A. to take notes on the topic and choose a few ideas to share.

Next time Sabrina should not only research the topic but she should also keep notes so that she doesn't forget all the information she finds. Also, although she could take notes about many different points on the topic she should focus on some of these ideas to share and she should choose these ideas beforehand. Thus, during the discussion she won't be lost as she won't be reading all of her notes during it in order to find which information she wants to share with the group.

LA.910.1.7.7 The student will compare and contrast elements in multiple texts

(e.g., setting, characters, and problems).

Read the passage and select the best answer.

Scott started nodding off in class. Mrs. Thomas tapped his desk as she passed it.

They started off the school year without a teacher and now that they had a teacher

they missed the substitute teachers. The class took advantage of every substitute

teacher that came in to teach. They would take turns dropping books, pass notes all

period, and take turns pretending to sneeze. Each day a different substitute teacher

would show up and every day they did everything they could think of to annoy

him or her. No one learned anything. The new teacher put an end to their antics.

The more disruptive they were, the more homework they received. It was bad

enough that she gave a ton of homework every night no matter how well behaved

they were. Scott looked over at his teammate Brian and smiled. He couldn’t wait

until the track meet this afternoon. Brian was an expert at the hurdles and Scott

was king of the long jump. Scott was having difficulty in school lately. He was

more interested in staying up late watching television and he was having difficulty

staying awake in class as a result. Brian was also struggling but he was having

trouble sleeping at night due to family problems. It seemed lately that his parents

arguments became louder and louder every night.

Describe how you can organize written information logically and sequentially. <br> help?
Vilka [71]
Determine what types of information you have. Such as characters or numbers, you decide what information is associated with what. You take groups of related information and organize them into records with a field for each piece of information. Then simply process them until you have a database.
