The Mongol Empire decided to adopt certain Chinese customs to keep the people happy under their rule. Mongols did trade with the Chinese and used the Silk Route for trading, but they never beleived the Chinese. The Mongol Empire adopted certain Chinese customs like the song bureaucracy and many rituals of the Chinese court. The actual thought behind the Mongol Empire about adopting the chinese rituals was that the people would never feel the urge to revolt against the Empire and they would remain happy under the Mongol rule.</span>
