Both of the moon and The Sun

<h3>Explanation : </h3>

Mars is known as the fourth closest planet from the Sun. It have two satellite named Phobos and Deimos. Actually, the both of Mars's moon is just an asteroid that trapped by Mars's gravity. So, can the both of its moon make a tidal waves if Mars had water ? Yes, it can if we calculate the Newtonian Gravity Forces.

We know that :

  • mp = mass of Phobos = 1.06 × 10^16 kg
  • md = mass of Deimos = 1,5 × 10^15 kg
  • mm = mass of Mars = 6,4 × 10^23 kg
  • rp = radius of Phobos from Mars = 9376 km = 9,376 × 10^6 m
  • rd = radius of Deimos from Mars = 23463 km = 23,46 × 10^6 m
  • G = gravity coefisien = 6.67 × 10^-11 N.m^2.kg^-2

So, we can calculate the Phobos force to Mars

F_p = G \times { \frac{m_m \times m_p}{r^{2}}}  \\ F_p = 6.67 × 10^{-11}\times {\frac{6.4 \times 10^{23} \times 1.5 \times 10^{15}}{(9.376 × 10^6)^{2}}}  \\ F_p =   \frac{6.67 \times 6.4 \times 1.5 \times  {10}^{ - 11 + 23 + 15} }{\times  {10}^{12} }  \\ F_p =    \frac{45.04 \times {10}^{28} }{87.9 \times  {10}^{12} }  \\ F_p= 0.512 \times  {10}^{16}  = 5.12 \times  {10}^{15} N

We can calculate the Deimos force to Mars

F_d = G \times { \frac{m_m \times m_d}{r^{2}}}  \\ F_d = 6.67 × 10^{-11}\times {\frac{6.4 \times 10^{23} \times 1.06 \times 10^{16}}{(23.46 × 10^6)^{2}}}  \\ F_d =   \frac{6.67 \times 6.4 \times 1.5 \times  {10}^{ - 11 + 23 + 15} }{550.37 \times  {10}^{12} }  \\ F_d =    \frac{64.03\times {10}^{27} }{550.37 \times  {10}^{12} }  \\ F_d= 0.116 \times  {10}^{15}  = 1.16 \times  {10}^{14} N

So, Phobos and Deimos still can give a huge gravity force to the Mars and can cause tidal wave.

What are the differences between mitosis and meiosis in human cells? Pay particular attention to the types of cells, number of d
Nezavi [6.7K]
Mitosis Involves one cell division? Results in two daughter cells Results in diploid? daughter cells? (chromosome? number remains the same as parent cell) Daughter cells are genetically identical Occurs in all organisms except viruses Creates all body cells (somatic?) apart from the germ cells? (eggs and sperm) Prophase is much shorter No recombination/crossing over occurs in prophase. In metaphase individual chromosomes (pairs of chromatids) line up along the equator. During anaphase the sister chromatids are separated to opposite poles. Meiosis Involves two successive cell divisions Results in four daughter cells Results in haploid? daughter cells (chromosome number is halved from the parent cell) Daughter cells are genetically different Occurs only in animals, plants and fungi Creates germ cells (eggs and sperm) only Prophase I takes much longer Involves recombination/crossing over of chromosomes in prophase I In metaphase I pairs of chromosomes line up along the equator. During anaphase I the sister chromatids move together to the same pole. During anaphase II the sister chromatids are separated to opposite poles. Similarities Mitosis Diploid parent cell Consists of interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase In metaphase individual chromosomes (pairs of chromatids) line up along the equator. During anaphase the sister chromatids are separated to opposite poles. Ends with cytokinesis. Meiosis Diploid parent cell Consists of interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase and telophase (but twice!) In metaphase II individual chromosomes (pairs of chromatids) line up along the equator. During anaphase II the sister chromatids are separated to opposite poles. Ends with cytokinesis.

Match the digestive organ on the left with its function.
RUDIKE [14]

Answer:

pancreas: secretes digestive enzymes into the small intestine

esophagus: the place where peristalsis takes place

small intestine: area of the digestive tract where most nuturients are absorbed

stomach: area of the digestive tract that follows the esophagus

large intestine: area of the digestive tract where mostly water is absorbed

Explanation:

peristalsis: so the food can move down towards your stomach, independently of gravity

pancreas: helps your stomach become the ultimate weapon to destroy anything that gets in there with its enzymes

small intestine: it is really really long -> more time to absorb nutrients

large intestine: like a farm of bacteria, the most exotic things that somehow made it through all the way here are finally destroyed -> also, water absorbtion: your body wants to retain as much as possible, this is how and where stool formation takes place
