Role of the consumer as a ruler of the market?

History
1 answer:
tia_tia [17]4 years ago

As the ruler of the market the consumer is supposed to indirectly tell the producer what and how much of that item they are supposed to make. They do this buy buying out an item that they really like which tells the producer that they need to make more and can possibly charge more for that product since so many people want it so bad. On the other end of that,  when consumers don't purchase the product that is being sold then producers will either charge less because the price they have it listed for is too high or they will take the item entirely off the market because they are not making any profit off of it.

How did political divisions during the Cold War affect the Korean War, the Cuban missile crisis, and the Vietnam War?
postnew [5]
We started the Korean War to prevent the spread of Communism because we associated Communism with Russia and we didn't like Russia.

The Cuban Missile Crisis was Russia getting ballsy and really mad at us (Likely due to us having missiles in Turkey that could hit them)

And the Vietnam War was started for the same reason as the Korean War.

Was Henry Clay more of a Hamiltonian or a Jeffersonian? Explain your answer.
Kipish [7]

Hamiltonian

Hamilton believed the federal government had the right to regulate and invest in the economy. Henry Clay also believed in a strong federal government and one that could aid in the advancement of the economy.

Henry Clay came up with and supported the American System. The American System supported industrial advancement and the creation of a national bank. Clay wanted the government to invest taxes into canals, roads, and railroads. He supported tariffs which would help grow American industry but often hurt farming industries, which would have been supported by Jeffersonian thinkers.
