Answer:

Option: Germany

Explanation:

Germany during World War II used rocket propulsion to gain advantages over the Allied Powers. In 1940, Germans built a surface-to-surface multiple rocket launcher called the Nebelwerfer and in 1943 developed V- 2 Rocket. Nazi Germany V-2 rockets used on aircraft like Bachem Ba 349 and Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet. During the war, Germany also acquired several guided and unguided missiles that were for air-to-air, ground-to-ground, and ground-to-air.

8. What exports dominated international markets?
Paul [167]

Answer:

Exports are incredibly important to modern economies because they offer people and firms many more markets for their goods. One of the core functions of diplomacy and foreign policy between governments is to foster economic trade, encouraging exports and imports for the benefit of all trading parties.

According to research firm Statista, in 2017, the world’s largest exporting countries (in terms of dollars) were China, the United States, Germany, Japan, and The Netherlands. China posted exports of approximately $2.3 trillion in goods, primarily electronic equipment, and machinery. The United States exported approximately $1.5 trillion, primarily capital goods. Germany's exports, which come to approximately $1.4 trillion, were dominated by motor vehicles—as were Japan's, which totaled approximately $698 billion. Finally, The Netherlands had exports of approximately $652 billion.

briefly explain why one of the following best supports the view that slavery largely ended during the civil war before the passa
Rama09 [41]

The 13th amendment was passed by the Senate on April 8, 1864 and by the House on January 31, 1865. It marked the official end of slavery in the United States. The Civil War, however, had mortally wounded slavery as an institution, since the Southern economy was devastated and enslaved African Americans had rebeled and run away from plantations in record numbers, greatly diminishing the amount of slaves under Southern control. The greatest strike against slavery, however had been Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation, which freed all slaves in rebel states. Thus, as soon as a slave left Confederate control, or as soon as the Union army liberated a certain area, that person was no longer a slave. Though it was a unilateral war measure of the Executive branch, and thus did not have the legal standing of a constitutional amendment, the Emancipation changed the legal status of more than 3.5 million slaves, dealing a crippling blow to Southern slavery.
