Do you think animals should be killed to be eaten? if yes, explain why.
trapecia [35]
Its 50/50 animals are killed by humans for our benefits but they dont have to do it. We could simply eat vegetables or anything from plants (which i think anything that comes from plats is a vegetable). So I think that the answer depends on who is answering the question if they are vegans or meat eaters (which i am myself).

Which event is described in this excerpt from Book 13 of Homer's Odyssey?
serg [7]
C, Minerva disguises him as an old beggar. The idea is that he wants to go unrecognized when he returns home to his people. You can figure that he's an old beggar based on phrases like "a man of miseries" and "uncouth".

However, if you have trouble reading older texts, websites like Sparknotes and Shmoop are great for getting summaries.

which detail from Chaucer's "A Monk;s Tale" best demonstrates that Fortune is a "blind prosperity" that no one should trust?
Ulleksa [173]

Answer:

Hercules became famous yet his own girlfriend poisoned him.

Explanation:

The detail about how 'Herculus became famous yet his own girlfriend poisoned him', from Chaucer's "The Monk's Tale", best demonstrates that fortune is a blind prosperity that should not be trusted by anyone.

Herculus got fame and gained strength based on his popularity but he was betrayed by his own girlfriend who later poisoned him which gives a lesson that no one is trust worthy.
