Liberty, republicanism, and independence are powerful causes. The patriots tenaciously asserted American rights and brought the Revolution. The Revolution brought myriad consequences to the American social fabric. There was no REIGN OF TERROR as in the French Revolution. There was no replacement of the ruling class by workers' groups as in revolutionary Russia. How then could the American Revolution be described as radical? Nearly every aspect of American life was somehow touched by the REVOLUTIONARY SPIRIT. From slavery to women's rights, from religious life to voting, American attitudes would be forever changed.

The revolution can change the society in many different ways:
It can give the poor and the middle class a chance to get a better life and get a higher social class, giving them better jobs.
It can protest to end up the slavery.
It can change the government system: Transforming from Dictatorship to democratic, and limiting the Governments powers, and encourage the application of the constitution.

The Bigger examples of how a revolution can change the society are the French Revolution in 1789, and the American Revolution in 1775.

Hope this Helps! :)

How did Lincoln perform among Southern states in the election of 1860?
kati45 [8]

Answer:

Correct answer is D: He did not win a single Southern state, and he earned less than half of the national vote.

Explanation:

D is correct as Lincoln won around 40 percent of votes, while winning in 18 states. Still, none of them was located on the South.

All other options are false because as we have said that he won no states in the South. Most votes in the border area were won by John Bell.
