You must first normalize this in order to use a Z-score table. To convert what you have into a Z score you must use this formula: (x- mean) /standard deviation. In your case (334-310)/12=2. So now you want the probability that a score is greater than 334, which in turn means you want P(Z>2)=1-P(Z<2)=1-.9772=0.0228=2.28%.

Which expression is equivalent to (4−3)−6?
arsen [322]

Answer:

The given expression is equal to -5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

= (4−3)−6

solving bracket first as 4 -3 equals 1

= 1-6

Subtracting greater term from smaller gives the negative value

= -5

So the given expression will be equal to -5

i hope it will help you!

please help! A student claims that a figure has rotational symmetry and that the angle of rotational symmetry is 360 degrees. Cr
nordsb [41]

When thinking about rotational symmetry, you must remember that rotational symmetry means if you are given a figure, and you turn the figure, you end up with the same figure. This happens when you have regular polygons, and each angle is congruent. In order to find the angle of rotation, you divide 360 by the number of angle you are given. if you rotated 360 degrees, that means 360/360=11. Your figure only had one angle, so it can't even be a polynomial! Also, every figure in the world will look exactly like it started if rotated 360 degrees, so this would not be logical.

How to find nth term of a sequence in math?
worty [1.4K]
Salutations!

To find the nth term, you will be needing a formula.

a +(n-1) *d

a stands for the first term (first number in the sequence)

d stands for the difference between two terms. (always remember to subtract from the 2nd term to the 1st term)

and the n is what we are going to find

so in your sequence: 5, 10, 15, 20

5 is a (as it is the first term)

d would be 5 ( 10 -5 =5)

a+(n-1)*d

5+ (n-1) *5

5+5n-5

5n+0

your nth term is 5n+0

Hope this helps!

Have a great day!
