"Fog," by Carl Sandburg, makes the most of very little through its use of specific stylistic effects. Firstly, the poem consists of only six lines, broken into two stanzas. The first stanza contains two lines, and the second stanza doubles this number. Each stanza is used to differing effect. The first stanza reads:

The fog comes

on little cat feet.

This establishes the metaphor of fog as a cat. There are a number of effects

Describe Mrs. Hutchinson's
joja [24]

Answer:

Mrs. Hutchinson really wanted to stop being trapped in a world where she couldn't change anything, where the Lottery was something as natural as day or night, and she was already tired of being a woman who always struggled to fit into that society. She didn't want to follow the rules, but she was a rebellious person inside, and perhaps for her the only way to escape was to die. Although she seems abnegated and peaceful, she actually thinks that the Lottery is unfair and even its late the Lotttery's day. Tess Hutchinson wants to end all that, even dying. It is also logical to think that she succeeded.

How did Odysseus react to Thersities mockery of king Agamemnon?
pochemuha

Answer:

He is upset.

Explanation:

Odysseus argues that Thersites is a peasant who has no right to speak out against kings and nobility. Odysseus goes on to say that Thersites lacks personal pride and respect since he refuses to battle. Furthermore, Thersites' lack of dignity is symbolized by his malformed look. Odysseus finishes his attack by smacking Thersites across the back with his scepter, creating a welt and tears to pour. All thought of Thersites coming home is put to rest after this public humiliation and branding. Soldiers must battle for pride and dignity. Only the mentally and physically deformed would argue differently.
