The answer is - True.

Cape Horn is the southernmost tip of the South American continent. Cape Horn belongs into the territory of Chile, more specifically it is located in the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, on the Hornos Island, of which it represents a rocky headland on the southern part of the island. This is the place where the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean meet, and the place is surrounded by wild cold waters that are not very recommendable for sail.

It is true that Cape Horn is the southernmost tip of South America.

Further Explanations:

Cape Horn is also known as the southernmost headland of the Tierra Fuego archipelago situated in the southern part of Chile in the Homos Island. It was discovered firstly by Dutchman Willem Schouten in 1616, who also named it Kaap Hoorn. It was named on the city of Hoorn of Netherland. The Cape Horn served as the milestone in the clippers route, used by sailing ships to carry out the trade around the world. It served as the trade route however; the water around the Cape Horn is hazardous with large waves, strong winds, and strong current along with icebergs.

In 1914, initiation of Panama Canal reduced the number of ships passing through the Cape Horn. Though horn is sailing through Horn is still considered as a challenge in yachting. Some prominent Yacht races, like Volvo Ocean Race, Vendee Globe, and Velux 5 Ocean are still conducted via Horn

Describe the global inequality in the supply and consumption of either food or water or energy
dimulka [17.4K]
We could separate this region into developed nations (such as north west America, eastern Asia , and wester europe) and non-developed nations (such as most region in africa, some regions in middle east and some region in eastern europe)

The consumption of food, water and energy in developed nations is clearly in abundance. If you go to any trash can in developed nations, you will see many residual food that people would throw simply because they do not want it anymore.
In non-developed nations on the other hand, most people would be desperate to obtain all of those things. Even the food that being thrown out by people in developed nation will be a luxury for them.
