"Ich am Kuhl" is not proper grammar and doesn't exists. 

If you want to say "I am cold/cool" you should say "Mir ist kalt/kuhl" 

You cannot use "Ich bin kalt/kuhl" because that literally means you are cold...Literally... and if you are physically cold you are probably dead. So don't use that if you are simply want to express that you are feeling cold.
