Justinian I (<span>/dʒʌˈstɪniən/</span>; Latin: Flavius Petrus Sabbatius Iustinianus Augustus; Greek: Φλάβιος Πέτρος Σαββάτιος Ἰουστινιανός Flávios Pétros Sabbátios Ioustinianós; c.482 – 14 November 565), traditionally known as Justinian the Great and also Saint Justinian the Great in the Eastern Orthodox Church,[2][3] was the Eastern Roman emperor from 527 to 565. During his reign, Justinian sought to revive the Empire's greatness and reconquer the lost western half of the historical Roman Empire.
It changed the voting fight in the 1872 for African Americans because before the amnesty act was put into place the African Americans had barely any rights except not being property to the Southern Americans but the Black Codes put into place in Southern states was slavery used with a different word and, African Americans still weren't allowed to vote even if they were educated so, when the amnesty act stated that African Americans can vote it changed everything for the African Americans lives they got better pay checks, they got to buy more land and, they got to have freedom.
