Which excerpt from This Land Was Made for You and Me most likely influenced Woody Guthrie to write songs "full of anger and hard

ship"?
He’d stick out his thumb and hitchhike, swing onto moving freight trains, and hunker down with other traveling men in flophouses, hobo jungles, and Hoovervilles across Depression America.

Woody said the best songs came to him when he was walking down a road. He always had fifteen or twenty songs running around in his mind, just waiting to be put together.

Woody milled around in the wings as she sang, the heat from the lights bringing out the musty smell of the theater. When Aunt Molly finished he ambled out, wearing a cowboy hat, boots, and blue jeans.

Nothing was holding Woody in New York, and in about a week he was in Washington, staying with Lomax and his wife.

Answer:

A: He'd stick out his thumb and hitchhike, swing onto moving freight trains, and hunker down with other traveling men in flophouses, hobo jungles, and Hoovervilles across Depression America.

Explanation:

In this answer, it talks about how people were so poor that they became nomads traveling in makeshift shelters during the Great Depression. In this situation, there is anger and hardship. Woody wrote about the honest feelings of average people during the Depression all the way to the Korean war, so the answer is A. Hope that makes sense.

In this excerpt from act I, scene II, of Macbeth, what can be inferred from Banquo’s response to the witches’ prophecy? BANQUO:
Mnenie [13.5K]
I believe the correct answer is 1-Banquo is wise enough to understand that the witches represent evil.
The witches have prophesied that his children would be rulers, and even though he would like that to happen, he understands that the witches are evil and should not be trusted. He also saw that Macbeth believes them completely which unfortunately led him to his demise.
