The Reformation was the religious movement that went against the Catholic church. The Reformation started when a man named Martin Luther started to question the Catholic Church the more he studied the Bible. He expressed how he thought the Catholic Church was wrong and he started to gain followers. Obviously the Church was not happy with this and kicked him out. The people would have steel been living in primitive tribal societies, and there's big possibility that they were going to practice a nomadic lifestyle as well.
