An outcome of the slave codes in the Southern colonies in the 1600s was that an enslaved person was defined as could be bought and sold.

The fear of rebellion from the African American slaves made the white people pressure the Colonies to pass a law resctricting slaves actions. Those were the Slave Codes. These codes considered slaves as property, they were not allowed to own property, and could not assemble alone, just in the presence of a white person.

The answer is B. E can be eliminated because their ideas originate from the teachings and preachings of Locke. D can be too because no slaves were discussed. Very few, if any Latin phrases were used. If I recall correctly, there are none. A can be eliminated because the navy is not heavily discussed. However, the abuse of power in the hands of a tyrant is discussed.

If the universe was made billions of years ago why is it only 2018.
Ganezh [65]
Because time is a social construct. It was only created when civilization was created. Since there was no one to create time in the beginning of Earth we had to create it as far back as we could. So basically science as stuff created time to help people. Time wasn't a thing back then. It only became a thing when people became a thing.

Hope this Helps!
