This is just a basic answer, but after the attack on Pearl Harbor they were pretty upset. They began to attack Japan, and even to used nuclear weapons. They warned Japan about this but they didn't believe them. It was a hard fought war but the U.S won.

In the mid-1960's, music from rock bands in Britain made its way over the Atlantic and became extremely popular here in the United States. One of the most well-known bands in the Invasion was the Beatles. They marked the start of the Invasion in 1964.
