The beginning of an MLA citation is "lastname, firstname". B and C don't follow this, so you can eliminate them. Then you notice at the end of the citation, the pages cited has to be preceded by a "pp". Choice A doesn't follow that, so we can also eliminate that choice. The remaining choice "D" is a correct citation.

The answer is D. According to the Modern Language Association (MLA), the correct way to document an article is the one presented in option D.

The MLA states that the first component of the reference must be the author's name, beggining with the last name, then the first name, separated with a comma, in this case: Matherne, David. The next component is the title of the article in quotation marks, in this case: "The Peachtree Road Race-A race Like No Other"; followed by the name of the journal and a comma, Road Racer Digest, although according to the MLA, this name should be italicised. Next, you write the publication date, including season and year: Mar. 2007; and finally the page numbers, starting with pp.

The evidence in the myths show that the Maori and Haida cultures are more: A. similar than different because they have important values in common.

Who are halda and what are their myths?

The Haida are North-American indigenous people. They have lived off the coast of Canada for thousands of years.

The Maori are indigenous people from New Zealand, the very first inhabitants of the country. Their ancestors were originally from Polynesia.

The myths from both cultures show that, despite belonging to completely different parts of the world, both possess important values in common. After reading about the myths we see that both peoples cherish family, social relationships, emotional and physical needs, determination, among other ideas and values. Let's take determination as an example. In the Maori myth, the characters are persistent in their attempts to separate sky and earth. Likewise, in the Haida myth, Raven does not give up until he receives the box he wants.

In conclusion, the cultures show interesting and important similarities when it comes to their values.

How to make a bow and arrow

Making a bow and arrow is very simple. Do not do this at home without supervision and carefully read the instructions before attempting to make a bow and arrow. You should brainstorm a good location to begin making your bow and arrow. Sometimes the materials that you buy may not be strong enough so make sure to buy sturdy ones. The materials that you need are rubber bands and some bamboo skewers. Be careful with the bamboo skewers because it is sharp tipped and can go far in the distance. It is exactly like long toothpicks.

First, stretch the thick rubber band between your index finger and middle fingers. Next, use the flat end of the bamboo skewer to push the rubber bands together. Then, form a circular shape with your other hand to hold the material firmly. Use the same fingers that I mentioned before to perform this act. After you have done that pull back on the string and let go. It will go a long distance away and if you have a target such as a box it will punch through it so be careful. You may want to use two layers of boxes.

I hope you had a good time making it. That is all the steps of making a bow and arrow. If you do not have a target then just use some cardboard box. One of the many places you can do it is in the open plains or fields. Have a great time playing with the bow and arrow!

Hope this helps,

Kavitha
