List: A notebook, paper, etc containing an array of items, such as grocery items.

Idk Chronological

Cause and Effect: You ride your bike, and you run over a rock, then you fall. Riding your bike is the cause, and falling is the effect.

Problem and Solution: Someone pushes you, and you push them back, then it starts a fight. Then a teacher comes, breaks them up, and tells them to apologize, then sends them to the principals office. Fighting is the problem, and what the teacher did is the solution.

Hope this helps! :)

Nanette highlights the margin-definition of terms in her psychology textbook; Nathan thinks about how each term applies to his o
Leni [432]

Answer:

He had a better understanding of the terms than Nanette.

Explanation:

With Nanette, she only used a textbook definition. All she did was highlight the definitions she found in the textbook.

With Nathan, he didn't just stop at knowing the textbook definitions. He thought about its application in his life, relating each defined term to his personal life experiences. He then went the extra mile of relating them to other concepts in the text book.

This means he had a broad understanding of the terms both on a personal level and in relation to other concepts in the chapter. The way he processed and understood the terms will make him recall better in an essay exam.

What is the prepositional phrase in the sentence? My best friend lives down the street
iris [78.8K]
The correct answer is C. down the street.
As the name itself says, a prepositional phrase begins with a preposition. The only preposition in the sentence above is the word down, which means that the following words are going to make a prepositional phrase with it. This prepositional phrase is telling us the location of the friend, where he or she lives.
