LESSON SUMMARY
This lesson consists of a hands on science activity in conjunction with a group discussion about the students' observations and hypotheses made during the experiment. The lesson is designed to give students an opportunity to observe the process of osmosis first hand through the diffusion of water through the membrane of a raisin. Osmosis- the process of diffusion of water molecules through a cell membrane
Dehydrated- word used to describe something that has had the water removed from it
