One day there was a girl who was walking home from buying some milk, but on the way back... she encountered a rabid dog. The dog was particularly sensitive to sound, and could sense her footsteps... she moved with caution but stepped on a stick and startled the dog, she exclaimed “HELPP...!!” A police patrol just so happened to pass by and the officer pulled his gun and shot the dog. The girl ran home, and the police officer was awarded. The End

Do you think it was necessary for Buck to kill Spitz? What might have happened had Spitz survived?
Solnce55 [7]
1) It was quite necessary not only for Buck, but also for others struggling to survive in the wild North. If he hadn't killed Spitz it it could have been very dangerous for others because he was very aggressive due to the hunger. Even though he was the leader, blinded by hunger he could do anything to survive, forgetting about the rest of dogs.

2) If he hadn't died he could have get many other innocent lives, like he had done to Curley. This character yielded to the external conflict of the harsh wild conditions, and his instings were much more powerful than his sense of justice so he could have bring harm until he reached his own safety.

How do you think Stanley feels when the warden confronts them?
mote1985 [20]
I read it a real long time ago but from what I remember the warden confronted him multiple times, overall, I think he felt accused and betrayed Bc no one believed him in the courtroom when he denied stealing the shoes. But when he was sent to the camp and the. Warden confronted him, I think he felt a little afraid.

Birthmothers are given great respect by Mother and the community.

True

False
kondaur [170]

Answer:

Birthmothers are given great respect by Mother and the community.

This statement is False

Explanation:

Birthmothers were never respected, they are considered lower from the rest of the community. There are many reasons behind this, first, their ideology inclined to a classist system. Second, the fact that someone else takes care of the children is also very important because the raiser of the children is recognized as the mother, instead of the birthmothers. Third, this causes an objectivization.
