1. The Treaty of Versailles
The Treaty of Versailles forced Germany to pay for all of the damage they caused, which was more than they could afford at the time, thus causing them to print more money and cause hyperinflation, leading to the rise of Hitler in the country's economic depression.
2. Rise of Communism
The Russian revolution happened a little while later, when Lenin rose to power and essentially forced communism onto Russia, which made then become the Soviet Union and leave the Allied Powers when WWII came around.
3. De-glorification of Warfare
Trench warfare was introduced during this time, as well as poison gas, which sharply turned war from a noble, honorable event into a disgusting and horrendous zone of terror. Bodies littered carelessly throughout trenches desensitized people to death and war, and war became less of an honor and more of a terror.
(hope this helped!)
You're right! Plato C. thought philosopher-kings should run the government.
In Plato's Republic, Plato argues that the ideal rule is by a philosopher-king who has stepped outside the cave, seen the light and come back to with this understanding to the cave to rule (see Cave metaphor).
I'm going to go with Russification because in the quote above it says "one language, one church, and one ruler." I feel as if this quote is calling for assimilation. When the Russian empire was big, in order to maintain their identity the Russians forced the countries that were under their rule to learn the language and culture and to give up the culture and language of the country that the people lived in (the countries that fell under the Soviet Union). All that to say, countries that fell under the Soviet Union had to loose their identity and take up the Russian identity.
Hopefully this helped and good luck.

Answer:
Mecca was the heart of the trade between the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean.
Explanation:
Prophet Muhammad was widely known as the founder of Islam and the prophet of Allah. He lived between 570 CE to 632 CE.
During his lifetime, he preached and spread the Islamic teachings among the people of Mecca and Medina, and across the neighboring towns and villages.
Muhammad’s interactions as a trader directly influence the teachings of Islam, because at the time Mecca was the heart of the trade between the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean.
Thereby, Muhammad used the opportunity to preach and spread the word of Allah to the traders coming in and around Mecca which was at the junction of major north-south and west-east routes.
