Answer:

The 25th Amendment deals with vacancy in the offices of president and vicepresident. So, it was necessary to pass it to guarantee a constitutional succession in case a president could not discharge his duties and powers. It was first applied in 1973, following Spiro Agnew´s resignation as vicepresident. President Richard Nixon nominated Gerald Ford. Then, it was invocated again a year later; following Nixon´s resignation, Gerald Ford was sworn in as president. He later nominated Nelson Rockefeller as vicepresident by using his powers given to him by the 25th Amendment.

You are a scout in the 1830s who makes a living by guiding settlers to Oregon. Write a two-paragraph "advertisement" telling peo
Lesechka [4]

In the 1830s, several parties of Americans traveled to Oregon, further establishing the Oregon Trail. Many of these emigrants were missionaries seeking to convert natives to Christianity. Jason Lee was the first, traveling in Nathaniel Jarvis Wyeth's party in 1833 and establishing the Oregon Mission in the Willamette Valley; the Whitmans and Spaldings arrived in 1836, establishing the Whitman Mission east of the Cascades. In 1839 the Peoria Party embarked for Oregon from Illinois.

In 1841, wealthy master trapper and entrepreneur Ewing Young died without a will, and there was no system to probate his estate. A probate government was proposed at a meeting after Young's funeral. Doctor Ira Babcock of Jason Lee's Methodist Mission was elected Supreme Judge. Babcock chaired two meetings in 1842 at Champoeg (halfway between Lee's mission and Oregon City) to discuss wolves and other animals of contemporary concern. These meetings were precursors to an all-citizen meeting in 1843, which instituted a provisional government headed by an executive committee made up of David Hill, Alanson Beers, and Joseph Gale. This government was the first acting public government of the Oregon Country before American annexation.

Which statement best describes a similarity between the political systems in
meriva

The statement "both avoided centralizing political power in the hands of one person" best describes a similarity between the political systems in ancient Greece and the Roman Republic.

This is the declaration that best describes a similarity between the political structures in ancient Greece and the Roman Republic. both systems prevented centralizing power within the fingers of 1 man or woman. In the case of ancient Greece, there were no critical authorities. each city-kingdom had its own form of government, without an important power. Within the case of the Roman Republic, various institutions, such as the Senate, allowed authorities to be shared.

Historic Greece and Rome had very comparable authority structures. one of the motives why these empires are remembered is due to the fact they strayed away from letting one man or woman rule. Rather, they relied on the citizens of the empire to have little control over who would run their empire.

For instance, in historical Rome, the two consuls had been elected with the aid of a set of Roman residents. Those consuls were responsible for walking the authorities and the military. In historical Greece, the origins of democracy are observed. In Athens, there was a system in which Greek citizens were given without delay vote on legal guidelines and individuals in the government. This is called a right-away democracy. This was the first of it is the type and supplied a version for countries just like the USA.
