For years, it has been Sarah's dream to start a charitable organization called Every Kid Eats in her hometown of Golden Valley.

She hopes the organization can provide meals and snacks to undernourished students in the local elementary schools. She has a plan to start her organization based on research and guidance from mentors. She's got some core support from a few friends and community activists, but needs more to succeed. To help, she's working on a vision statement to communicate what Every Kid Eats aims to accomplish, why it's important, and how it can happen. Hopefully, her vision statement will inspire more donations, community support, and volunteers.
To be effective, vision statements must be clear. Clear statements are often concrete and specific. Which vision statement follows this guideline most?
O By supplying nutritious in school snacks and meals to Golden Valley elementary school children in need. Every Kid Eats will ensure that no elementary school child in our town goes hungry during the school day.
O Nutrition is important to everyone, especially when they are learning, Every Kid Eats is an organization that helps elementary school age children in our town of Golden Valley eat better throughout the day.
O Every Kid Eats is an organization that cares about kids and their nutrition. Because many kids go hungry, Every Kid Eats will make sure elementary school age children in our town are getting the food they need.
O Because a starving brain is a brain that isn't learning, Every Kid Eats will make sure children in the town of Golden Valley are getting what they need to eat.

Suppose Joe and Mike purchase identical houses for $200,000. Joe makes a down payment of $40,000 while Mike only puts down $10,0
WARRIOR [948]

Explanation:

Joe and Mike both purchase identical houses which has a net worth of $200,000.

Down Payment made by Joe:   $40,000

Down Payment made by Mike: $10,000

Down Payment is the total of his net worth for both individuals.

A) Who is more highly leveraged?

Mike borrowed $190,000 and Joe borrowed $160,000

Mike is more leveraged because he borrows much more to purchase a $200,000 house.

Mike's leverage ratio:

LR =  $200,000/$10,000 = 20.

Joe's leverage ratio:

LR =  $200,000/$40,000 = 5.

B) If housing prices in the neighborhood immediately fall by 10%, what would happen to Joe'sand Mike's net worth?

ROE = (ROA) (LR)

Mike:

ROE = (-10%) (20) = -200%

Mike will have a decrease of 200% in his net worth. He will surly go bankrupt as the value of his assets are less than the value of the liabilities on him.

Joe:

ROE = (-10%) (5) = -50%

Mike will have a decrease of 50% in his net worth. He still has the worth of his property because his assets are still greater than his liabilities.

Determining the price of goods should be done after calculating income and expenditure ??
Vera_Pavlovna [14]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

There are several methods that businesses use to determine the price of goods and services. The most common one involves first calculating the cost of production or the cost of goods sold.  The desired markup is added to the cost. Other methods include the break-even analysis, target prices, and going by the market rate.

In all these methods, the price is determined selling starts. It means the price is set before selling starts. Therefore,  income cannot be generated before a price is determined.
