Operating machines, running factories, being a mechanic, a plumber, among other positions that are necessary for the industrial sector, requires some study and preparation. It was just those missing points in the southern United States. Education in the south did not train individuals ready for industrial work and this prevented the advance of the industrial sector in the south.
