History

Answer:

History affects the way we think, speak, and interact with each other, If we didn’t learn the past history we would be repeating the same mistake over and over and not getting the point. History is interesting but not knowing it might lead you to repeat the same inventions that are already made where you make an effort but don’t get awarded for it. I also think it’s important to know where you came from to know what direction to go in. Our past history is key to a better future! Not only does it help us make better decisions for our future, but it also educates us about perhaps our background and family history I guess.

History is something that will never change it will stay the same forever and you can look back to it whenever. Napoleon Bonaparte once said that history is nothing more than the version of past events that people have decided to agree upon. When you come across some decisions in your life and you get stuck and have no way out then if you look back to history it might make it easier for you to come across a reasonable answer or decision about it.

What was the main effect of the Supreme Court's 1896 ruling in Plessy v. Ferguson?
Dafna11 [192]

Answer:

It legitimized the establishment of a segregated society in the Southern states.

Explanation:

In the Plessy v. Ferguson Case (1896), the Supreme Court ruled that racially segregated public facilities (common in the Southern States) were legal because they did not imply any discrimination against African Americans as long as they were consistent to the doctrine of "separate but equal" which provided segregated but equal facilities (in terms of quality) to both white and non-white people. As a result, this case legitimized the establishment of a segregated society in the Southern states and allowed for discrimination to continue because, in reality, segregated facilities were rarely equal.

How are the three major monotheistic religions both alike and different?
NISA [10]
