1. What does the method of animation in the zoetrope have in common with today’s animation?

2. Why do you think that some animators prefer stop motion animation over cel animation? It gives a more authentic look, and gives them the chance to literally be hands on with their work and mold it however they want.

3. What advantages would working with large pixels have over working with small pixels? Larger pixels collect more of the “good” data than smaller pixels. A larger pixel will result in a higher quality image (less noise) than a smaller one.

4. What do you think the hardest part of creating CGI images is? I would say creating photo-realistic digital humans that interact & converse with real world actors.The challenge lies in creating a totally believable human no different from that of a real person.

 

5. Imagine that there were no intellectual property rights. How would this change how artists work? If artists couldn’t make a living and keep ownership of their work, they would probably stop creating. And without creativity, our culture would suffer.

I think it was the lyre. It was the first string instrument according to Greek myths. Hermès gave it to Apollo to stop him from killing Hermès because he stole Apollo’s sacred cow. I don’t know. It’s just a myth but I hope this helps:)))
