1. A trip to the ocean can be a relaxing escape from the everyday pressures of life.

It is the topic sentence because the rest of the paragraph is elaborating on that sentence. It describes the ways that the ocean is relaxing.

2. When proof reading you want to first see if every thing flows, you then want to look for grammatical errors along with spelling errors. Look to see how the sentence are composed. Does it have every part that is needed in a sentence such as a noun. Then saying what is happening to the noun.

3. I am sure you can do this one on your own. :)

4. Pick one that really speaks to you. It can be easier to pick one that has an order. Such as building a snowman. You can start off with getting dressed for the cold weather. Describe what order you would put on winter clothes. Include that in order to build a snowman you have to go outside. Describe how to pick the proper location and the exact steps of how to accomplish the building of a snowman. Pretend you are giving a robot instructions. He is going to do exactly what you say. If you forget a step or do not elaborate enough the job will not be done properly. ( When I was in school I had a teacher do this with verbal instructions on making a sand which. We even had to include how to open the bread, how to twist the top off the peanut butter jar, and how to hold the knife. )
6. In my opinion the topic " college is not for everyone"
you can add details about how many people have started a business and became successful even when not receiving a high school diploma and not going to college. You can talk about how a trade school can be a better option. That many people do not need a "well rounded" education for the job they want. Silversmithing does not require college english or history. It would benefit them to go to a trade school. The kid who was raised on their family ranch and worked on it their whole life. They do not need to go to college to learn how to farm. They should have all the knowledge to do well by doing it for many years.
Hoped this all helped.
