The word "bonsai" means "tree in tray" and it is the term that represents the art of Japanese origin of growing trees (usually woody) in a much smaller size than the original, reaching the point of being able to be placed in a pot (tray). Bonsai is made using different techniques and seeks to reproduce the tree in a faithful to natural way.
A good bonsai, worthy of admiration is one that has the ability to appear to have been formed by nature, without the intervention of man.
