The war-torn south as the scene of the fighting has become the subject of debate among politicians. It had to be rebuilt; but within the new order, the war-winning northerly capitalist order.

At this stage there were many problems with African Americans in the south, the approval of Jim Crow laws, racial segregation, the emergence of the Ku Klux Klan organization. All of this drove Great Migration, which was the shift of African Americans from South to North.

Explanation: during the years 1865-1877 alot of things where going wrong. Then again alot of things were going wrong dating back to the years of but none where as bad as what was coming during the laws creation. also because of the great Reconstuction african americans status had to be noticed. even though this was done it didn't protect the african americans from white persucation and discrimnation. SO basiclly the entire law failed. Even then the goverment didn't give up so but then The Proclamation of Amnesty and Reconstruction was Lincoln's plan to reintegrate the Confederate states back into the Union, granting presidential pardons to all Southerners (except political leaders) who took an oath of future allegiance to the Union. Which made bad news for the african americans. though in the end it was so-so resolved when they gave african americans education, voting right and more.
