#1- The chart shows an increase over each decade. This means it is option B. We can come to this conclusion by looking at the rise of the dates and population number.

#2- The chart shows a dramatic increase. By eliminating all of the other options due to the fact everything increased and not the opposite, the answer must be B. We can also look at the left side of the chart to see the number of people living in New York increasing by more than two million.

#3- The picture clearly shows the idea that urbanization led to more Americans who preferred city living in the 1800s. We know from the charts that more people moved to New York during the 1800s, we can also see a lot of buildings in the picture. This leads me to conclude the answer must be B.

#4- Looking at the picture I believe the answer is A. I do not see the difference between residential or business areas, the water level, or the amount of trade being conducting. This leads me to conclude that A is the only correct option.

#5- I do not know this answer due to the lack of readable context and the fact that I do not take your course. I would need a date.

I hope my time and effort suffices your quench for knowledge. Have an amazing day and never stop learning! :)

How did the Jews leave the death camps?
ella [17]

Answer:

Once the “Final Solution” began and the Nazi death camps were in full operation, Jews and other targets of the Nazi regime could only leave the country with the help of forged passports or other documents. Within Germany itself, this was extremely difficult, and the possession of any such documents would result in summary execution.

Two examples of explorers who didn’t sail from their birth place
abruzzese [7]

Answer: Christopher Columbus and Fernando Magellan.

Explanation:

Christopher Columbus was born in Genoa (Italy). He ended up in a combination of life circumstances in Portugal and then in Spain. Christopher Columbus discovered America in 1492. He sailed under the banner of the King of Spain. With this discovery, Columbus gained a great deal of popularity in Spanish. Columbus was convinced that he was in the waters of Asia, in fact at the time of his arrival, he was in the Bahamas.

Fernando Magellan was born in Portugal. In the sixteenth century, Portugal introduced big names in the world of seafaring and exploration. Magellan was enthusiastic, and to sail the world, he sought the help of the Portuguese king. After the king rejected his plan, he presented the King of Spain to Charles V. The king enthusiastically accepted him because Portugal was the direct rival of Spain. Thus, in about 1519, Fernando Magellan led the first expedition to sail the world.

Describe the relationship between kinetic energy and speed. A) A positive linear relationship. B) A negative linear relationship
Masteriza [31]

The correct answer is D) A positive, but not linear relationship.

This comes from the equation Ek=1/2mv^2

Where Ek is Kinetic Energy, m is mass, and v is the speed (or velocity).

As we can see in the equation, the relation is not linear but quadratic and it is positive.
