uysha [10]

Answer:

Your answer: 1.) Although most women worked in the clerical and service sectors, as they had done so for decades, the wartime economy opened chances for women in heavy industry and wartime manufacturing factories that had hitherto been reserved for males. 2.) They also drove vehicles, repaired planes, worked as laboratory technicians, prepared parachutes, operated radios, studied pictures, flew military planes throughout the nation, tested freshly repaired planes, and even taught anti-aircraft gunners by posing as flying targets.

The invention of the McCormick reaper revolutionized the economy of what region prior to the Civil War?
kipiarov [429]
The McCormick reaper was the first mechanical reaper used in farming. It was designed to harvest grain grown primarily in the mid west but it has been said that it revolutionized agriculture all around the world because farmers went from cutting grain by hand to being able to cut it with a machine and allowed for increased production. So much grain was produced in the mid west that Chicago had to improve its infrastructure to be able to handle it all.
